Standing here today, fresh from renewing my Google Ads certifications, I can’t help but marvel at the incredible journey I’ve been on. The path has had its surprises, but the core principles have remained steadfast, reminding us of the timeless foundations.

Looking back, it feels like a different era when Google Ads certifications were just a single exam assessing skills in search, display, measurement, and the wider digital landscape. This was before the era of shopping ads, mobile dominance, and even the YouTube revolution.
